Checkout Button not directing to Paypal

I have a new problem on an existing cart that has been fully functional up until the latest updates were installed.

virtuemart 3.0.12
joomla 3.4.6

After adding all the required info to purchase a product and pressing CHECKOUT NOW - the page simply refreshes and does nothing.

There are no entries in the error logs, nothing has been changed in Paypal. I couldn't find anything with Firebug - but this is all new to me!

Any suggestions would be much appreciated - it's a retail site 2 weeks before Christmas - they're understandably edgy!

99.9% sure it will be your  template.. these complex all singing, all dancing templates often need an update for every VM update so contact the developer

have you tried it with the standard template Protostar?

Thank you for your quick response, it was indeed a template error, and updates have been applied and the issue resolved.
