VM3.0.12 Not Sending Vendor Emails after Order Confirmation

VM: 3.0.12
Joomla 3.4.5
PHP: 5.4 Native

Customer is checking out as guest only.   Customer gets email confirming order.  Vendor does not.   All default order status' are selected to generate notice to vendor, none are missing.  Emails are configured correctly and website is correctly sending emails.  No custom 3rd party cart, using standard VM 3.0.12 cart.  No hosting errors.  Joomla using SMTP email settings and again, website sends emails correctly from contact page.  Payment gateway is Authorize.net - standard built in, not a custom 3rd party add-in.

I've been seeing alot of forum discussions about this same issue on older versions of VM.  Does anyone have anything new to try to resolve this issue?
