Hi,

I have an eshop with pizza where I use Custom Fields for All and string custom fields (

(1) dropdown for string custom field does not show at all :( and I can't see why  > http://imtp.me/aabk02lj3

(2) checkboxes seem not to affect price at all , even though they should> http://imtp.me/aabn02lj3, http://imtp.me/aabo02lj3.p

(3) how to setup VM to be able to insert one product into cart as single product / e.g. one pizza tono with olives, herb sides, 1 pizza tono with jalapenos and garlic sides

because now it is added into cart as one product with quantity 2. and even if I use multivariant for the sides, how about the other custom fields for extra ingredients?

is there a solution for this, please?

PRO

have you talked about this with the "custom fields for all" developer?

stawebnice

Yes, but I am still waiting for the answer.

but I am asking more about 3 here...2 and 1 is about template and customfieldsforall, but question is, if I use multivariant, will the other customfields be added to the cart separately with each variant that I add?

I have never used vmart standard custom fields.
I only use plugins.

stawebnice

Which plugins do you use?

because I am not sure that customfieldsforall works as I expected (do not affect price)...and developer wants me to extend the subscription to even find out if it works...not really sure, if I want to pay for something twice when I have no guarantee it works and it does not have flawless support...

So the problem was connected to the template by Templatemonster.

a) someone disabled dropdown in the template
b) the custom fields for all must be assigned to addtocart position unless it does not affect price. When you place it ontop or other position, it will show, but will not work

yes that is true.

I use the dropbox plugin

For all my product options.

The custom fields should be placed inside the form where the add-to-cart button exist.
This is the same for every type of custom field. Otherwise will not update the price, neither will be added to the cart
