short description on page generated by the mod_virtuemart_product module

Hi can anybody tell me if it's possible to display the products short description on the page generated by the mod_virtuemart_product module in Joomla ? I'm using version 3.0.8 with the EvoStore template. I've found where the code is that generates the page but I can't figure out how to display something not already listed in the code.
