Unable to override price of child product

Hello All,

    The final price of the parent product was overwritten, but the same price is now being shown for all child products as well, when the overwritten prices of child products should be seen. Also, if I don't overwrite the price of the parent product then no overwrite is shown for any child product.

Is this the best way to apply discount? I am using CSVI for product upload , but then the rule gets applied to all products and not only to the one it is meant for. Is it possible to have discounts based on SKU?

I don't recall there being a price override in VM1.1 - or have you posted in the wrong section?

Ooops! Sorry. Yea meant for Virtuemart 2, my apologies for posting in the wrong section!

My concern is :
1) If I use "override final" feature , then the same price is displayed for all products (parent + child)
2) If I use discount option , then the same value of discount is being shown for all products

I want to showcase different discounts for different child products of the same parent.
