IP log for request information emails

Hi,
I was wondering where I can find the IP address of people mailing me for information about products.
I looked for logs in the db and the extension itself, but I am unable to find it.
Are these emails logged? if yes, where?
I searched for that info in google and the forum but the keywords are too general and I am lost in an ocean of unrelated returns, I'd greatly appreciate if somebody could enlighten me.
