PROBLEM: Product variation price in cart - Variation info in Cart

Hello,

in my VM site I have some products with child products, each of those have several variations prices.
There are two things I am trying to fix and I nead some help!:

1. In the main product before someone selects the product child there is a select box (Chose variation) where appearing the SKU of each child product.
Instead of the SKU I want to appear the name of the childs products.

2. When the user selects child product and then a variation with diferent price, and adds to the cart; in the cart appear the price of the main product instead of the total calculating the variation price, and also doesn´t show the variation chosen from the user. So the vendor doesn´t know which variation the user has chosen...

Can someone please help me fix those problems?!
