Question: How to find phrases?

Hi all,

my website is actually offline - I can't provide an link.

But I have a few words in english, my website is in german, I would like to translate they, for example in carts.

Is there a way to find in which language file they are to find? Or whats your method?

Thanks, I am using it.

But for example I can not find word "items".. I searched also on FTP under languages, also in administrator/languages, also in template/languages.. nothing..
