Deleted Products show up everytime I resynce a new file

I synced my files doing the migration process and then had a bunch of products and product categories that I didn't want to use. These being the default items that come with  with the template I'm using, such as hats, some logos, books. I deleted these products out from the Virtuemart media files and products and product categories.

I uploaded a new file to my safe path folder and wanted to sync it with the Virtuemart. It worked fine, except all the products that I deleted, re-appeared in the media files again.

How do I permanently delete these items I don't want, so that they don't re-appear in my media files section, everytime I sync a new product to virtuemart

I dleted all the pictures out of the folders, everything still pops up

I'm using Virtuemart 3.0 with Joomla version 3.4 .
