obsolete view categories

Hi

Joomla! version, 2.5.18.
VirtueMart 3.0.6

When logged in when I browse to the products I get a warning message:
This is using still the obsolete view categories! Change it to the new category view with categories layout, for more information please read here http://forum.virtuemart.net/index.php?topic=120433.0
I did check the forum, but couldn't find the setting there...

also checked virtuemart and changed
Category Layout in templates to categories, but the message is still there...


It doesn't affect the website but I would just like to get rid of the message or resolve the problem if there is one...

I guess this is an upgraded site that had an early version of vM2 installed? You probably have a Joomla menu link to the old categories option which you need to change to link to the category option.

thanks for quick reply. Haven't find that setting yet...
Does this warning message affect anything or can I just ignore it. I did inherit the website so I don't know much about it.
It was updated from old version 2.x to new one recently

check each Joomla menu that points to a category - make sure it's "menu item type" is Virtuemart->Category layout
NOT categories layout
