Updated joomla & now pdf's don't function same or checkout screen

I don't know where to start to look to debug what has changed or not compatible now.
I recently updated Joomla to 2.5.28, & VM is still 2.6.6 & was unchanged.
With the last web order, I now realize that
1) a pdf of invoice is not attached to order email
2) In backend on Orders screen for the customer, there's the link for invoice number to view, which now doesn't show anything but company name & horizontal line. (it once looked professional looking)
3) The pdf storage folder resides at /root/vmfiles/pdf & all prior upgrade pdf's are there, but the new one is not
4) On the checkout screen for the email address field, it now displays the code written out of <img src= IN the field & underneath the input field the rest of code written out " class="required" maxlength="100" /> . When I click on in the text box it brings up Outlook w/ the email address to mailto.

With these 4 new changes, where should I start to repair this???
And why after an upgrade, would this be altered?


Added: Ok...I just went to a subfolder I made as a test location...that is on Joomla 2.5.28 & VM 2.6.6, & the 4 issues above are not because of the upgrade of Joomla....I installed a module for facebook/twitter & upgraded my RSFirewall...so it has to be because one of those.

Added: Once I disabled RSFirewall component, it resolved the email address field issue, created the pdf in the vmfiles/invoices/ folder, but in the backend to view the pdf from the Order screen still displays only company name & the line.

I made an order from within the test folder location & the link brings up the pdf fine there. Something still got modified on the main site.
