checkout not working on Safari browsers

Joomla 2.5.20
Users cannot checkout on Safari browsers.
After entering all their payment info and clicking 'Confirm Purchase' the cart goes to /checkout.html and then immediately gets redirected to /editpayment.html
On this page we re-enter the CC info but get the same behavior.

Entire site works fine on IE, Firefox and Chrome.

Solved. It was jquery 1.11 that was interfering. Reverted back to 1.8 and it works.
