A download button in product details page so VM product image can be downloaded?

Hi

I have been searching the forum and trying to work out if there is a way to add a download button which allows a visitor to download the virtuemart product image?

The reason for requesting this is that I am building a clipart based website and virtuemart looks to be quite a good way to catalog the pictures and it would be a nifty little feature to have. I have seen similar components like phoca gallery etc but it looks like a lot of time is invested in setting up a nice looking template etc whereas virtuemart has some great templates and features

It looks like in my template folder I have got the following file which controls the look of the product details page:

mytemplate\html\com_virtuemart\productdetails\default.php

I am just really stuck on what code I have to add to get it to work

the url to the image is already there .. i.e. right click and "save image as..."
