Payment plugin for NORDEA Bank?

Hi. I looked for for this but did not find any answers in the forum.

Has anyone implemented payments with the NORDEA Bank (operating in Sweden and other northern European countries)? I have a customer with a Nordea account and he wants to accept payments into it. I'm familiar with other payment gateways, such as Sermepa and 4b, but know nothing about Nordea.

I see ePay provides this service and has a VirtueMart plugin available, but I wonder if there would be a more direct approach, since using ePay would imply for my customer to create an ePay account... Or so I think, for what I've seen.

So, has anyone worked with Nordea before? And if so, what do you people think is the best solution?

If Nordea have an api available then a plugin can be built ..

Hi. Thank you very much for your reply. I will look into it. Anyway, in the plugin's description they insist in "Nordea bank Estonia", and I wonder if the API will be the same as for Nordea Sweden, which is where my customer is from.

I shall write to the developer and gather more info. When I have it I will post it here for future developers.

As a side question, if a specific plugin had to be built, could you do it and at what cost (approx., of course)?

It really depends on the api - some are notoriously lacking in info or testing abilities making development long winded

The price of course depends on also the perceived saleability -- my Samport plugin built for a client has never sold another copy .. so the client had to pay the full dev costs

can be 3-6 hours  - perhaps more - but so api dependent

Tough luck: I just got confirmation from the developer of this plugin that it does not work with Nordea Bank Sweden.

I'll try to find out more about this and post it here. In the meantime, if someone has any previous experience with VirtueMart + Nordea Sweden, his/her comments will be greatly appreciated
