Add to Cart 'Pop up' does not Work

I have a problem with Pop up box as it does not appear and remain as always scrolling upon clicking 'Add to Cart' button

add to cart call just gives a 500 server error

we have had this problem b4 with you I'm afraid - read and analyse my answer...

clicking add to cart gives a 500 server error in the ajax call - that is what you need to fix

Firebug console gives this error simply on visiting the page liked above:
