Thumbnail and Main Image

Main image in product details page is showing two times. Once in main image and once as a thumbnail
Can we show it only once as main image
Using Joomla2.5 and VM 2.6.0

It does not do that on the current VM2.6.8c with the default template if you deselect "Open additional images on main position" in Config/Templates.
