User viewing rights for products

Hi,

I have created a product on virtuemart and when a unregistered user tries to view the product they're prompted to login/register. The user can see the product but when they click on the product they're prompted to login/register. I'm sure this is just a configuration issue that is my fault but I have explored all the possibilities I can think of. Can some one please tell me how to resolve this issue?

I am using virtuemart version 2.0.10

That VM version is nearly 2 years old, you should seriously consider updating - http://forum.virtuemart.net/index.php?topic=118683.0

What you describe could be due to incorrect use of shopper groups, assigning Joomla menu items to registered only or setting "Only registered users can checkout " in VM config.

No url so not possible to see this.
