Is there away to auto approve account creation ?

Hmm, we could add this as FAQ.
Go in joomla to your com_users, that means to your component where you manage the users in joomla (relativ link /administrator/index.php?option=com_users&view=users). Then go there to the options (upper right corner) and there is an option to deactivate it.
