Hello everyone,

I need little help understanding my virtuemart. I am running  version 2.0.24c on Joomla 2.5.16.
I migrated an old site running on 1.5 Joomla to version 2.5

I have 2 queries, one is understanding the checkout process I have on the older website running older version of virtuemart. If I know how that is done on the old website, then I want to be able to do the same on the new website.
In the old website, when products are added to the cart and clicked on checkout, we are taken to an enquiry form, where we have a custom form, we fill the form and instead of order checkout, the form initiates a enquiry submission.
Please try the checkout process here: http://ecosustainableproducts.com Just add any product and click on checkout, see the process. I want the same to be done on the newer virtuemart 2 on Joomla 2.5 website. So please tell me how I
can achieve the same, which files I have to edit, etc.

Second concern is, take this product for instance: http://ecosustainableproducts.com/new/index.php/energy-saving-lights/tubes/led-t8-tube-light2013-12-24-08-51-12571965299-detail.html
Below on the right you will see several custom fields displayed one below the other: Power consumption, light output, etc. But I want to reorder them, say make light output appear first and then power consumption.
I have 290+ products, majority of them use the same custom fields, I cannot open each product one by one and do the sorting, and in the custom field admin I do have created a group and ordered the fields in it the way I want,
but on the frontend it still shows in the order of creation. Where am I missing out?

Thank you so much for your time in reading this.
Regards.

Have a look at Breezing forms for integration at checkout. You can also use the form for custom fields if necessary.
