Terms of service message does not show

Hello everybody!

I am working on the checkout page for a site and i can not find the answer to this problem:
the checkbox and the link to agree to the terms of service does not show. i have tried a lot of things and read a lot of posts in the forum but can not solve it :-( now after trying al sorts of things, now also my minicart popup is gone...   
can someone please help me out?

i use joomla 2.5.14
and virtuemart 2.0.24

Issues I saw: apparent blank add to cart popup - Firebug shows text is there but needs dark color applied.
You have no terms-of-service div in your template - which is the default TOS div, so you need maybe to look closely at your overrides.  There is a link to General terms and conditions at the top of the page which works OK.
