Hi.

See screenshot. After setting up both a payment method and shipment, nothing appears under the tab Configuration. Apply has been clicked, aio is installed and updated, and VM is latest version (2.0.22a)

PLEASE help! :(

What are the names of your methods?

Also forum members from eastern Europe can't see your attached image cos you used in its name special character (3rd - æ).

Methods? In case you mean e.g. payment method is set to Papyal, then it doesn't matter - no matter which method I choose, configuration shows up blank.

I attached image again :)

That didn't do the trick. I have had to completely wipe virtuemart including database and reinstall. Now it's working.

I have the exact same problem, but have a somewhat modified shop, so a reinstall from scratch is not an option.

Is there a solution to this?

Sorry

Latest version - VM 2.0.22a
Joomla is also latest version - 2.5.14

Problem is with both Shipping and payment - All modules.
Reinstall of the modules has no effect.

Also it seems to affect on the stockable variants plug-in in custom fields, as it is no longer possible to create these - The extra options that there are suppose to show after you press "save", when creating a new custom field, does not show. (the input fields where you type in your variants).

a typical problem with some 3rd party extensions interfering in the jquery of the backend. Maybe this helps you http://forum.virtuemart.net/index.php?topic=113543.0

Unfortunately that did not help me.

I do not have that many 3. party extensions installed, and I have tried to deactivate them all, but it did not make any difference.

The problem came after my host provider updated the server from php 5.3 to php 5.4 and I, because of numerous errors, updated both joomla and VM. VM was updated to 2.0.22a from 2.0.18b.
Everything worked perfect before the update.

The update dit not help on the errors, witch all where concerning "Strict standards" (see attachment)
I googled and could se that others have had the same issues, and that the cause was that the servers php.ini was set to "Display errors ON", and it could be solved by turning error reporting of in the joomla server configuration.
So I did that, and the site was running normally again, except for the error on the payment and shipping configuration and on the create custom field page.

Any help here is very much appreciated...  :-\

ahhhh, that explain all. Your provider must disable the message for strict standards. This errormessages break the ajax. Keeping vm2 compatible for php5.2, 5.3, and 5.4 leads to this problem.

Please read here to get help how to disable/enable the php messages  http://forum.virtuemart.net/index.php?topic=102555.0

Thank you for your answer Milbo, and sorry for the late reply.

I have been struggling a little bit with my provider to get them to disable error messages in php.ini on the server, and finally got them to do it.
Unfortunately it made no difference what so ever on the problem with the blank pages  :'(
The Strict standards error does not appear anymore, but thats about the only difference. AJAX still don´t work.
