Add/edit delivery/shipping address not updating confirmation page

Hi
Strange problem so please bear with me.
Firstly I choose to use the billing address as my delivery address, press confirm and proceed to my payment page.
Then I return to the confirmation and use the add/edit address button to choose a new or stored address.
However once I press save, return to the confirmation page and press confirm, the address within the payment page remains set to the billing address?

I can also check whether the correct address has been updated by pressing refresh within the confirmation page before I get to the payment page.
The shipping/delivery address remains set to the billing address.

Now this does not happen when I choose a shipping address immediately on entering the confirmation page.
I can even proceed to the payment page and then return to the confirmation page. Click the add/edit address, change the details and the details do update.
The same proceedure as described above but with out selecting the 'Please use my billing details' checkbox'. (VmHtml::checkbox)

Has anyony got any ideas???
