Custom Fields on Checkout Page

Hello, I've been searching for this days and trying to work out how to do. I'm amazed it's not a common discussed topic.. or at least answered.

On the checkout/cart page I want to display a few items with prices that will add to the total price.

Say say we add 5 checkboxes with a pre-set price say $3 for one, $5 for another etc.. then when the shopper ticks the checkbox it's added to the total price and when they 'Check out Now' and pay it says they added an additional $5 for such n such.

This is good if I wanted to: (Add $3 to the Total for donations for the AIDS foundation) and another one could be $5 to add 100x fancy envelopes. I don't need to check if it's in stock etc.. Just to be able to add a specific set of prices to the total.. it doesn't have to be back-end friendly. I can update it via code etc.. I just need to get it done.

Any help would be GREATLY appreciated..

I'm using: Joomla 2.5.9 and Virtuemart 2.0.20b
