Linking a shopper group to a category

Hi
I am new to virtuemart and I was wondering if there's anyway of linking a shopper group to a category.
So when a user of shopper group A visits the site he can only see categories that are shown to shopper group A and not the categories shown to shopper group B.

I am using VM 2.0.18a and Joomla! 2.5

I hope someone can help me out

Currently you can assign products to individual or multiple shopper groups, but not categories. Maybe it could be included in a later version if enough people want it and it does not screw other functions.
