Shipping Question...

Ok I've created a few standard shipping methods for different amounts of products, as followed:

Standard Shipping - 1-2 items - $3.00
Standard Shipping - 3-4 items - $3.00
Standard Shipping - 5-6 items - $8.00
Standard Shipping - 7 or more items - $12.00
Virtual Shipping - All E-Books - Free

Now when you add one physical item and one e-book to the cart it'll show up for the $3.00 shipping for that one item. If there are more than one physical items the shipping goes away and it says to select shipment, and when you click on that it says "Please select a shipment method. We are sorry, no shipment method matches the characteristics of your order."

I don't understand why it's not working.. it seems like it should all work correctly. Am I missing something?
