contact us form

Not sure if this is a Joomla or Virtuemart issue but I want to know how I can disable or hide the contact form that came with my Joomla 2.5/Virtuemart 2.0.18 set up and only display the third party version I've installed?

Everything I've tried resulted with an error on the page!

The standard contact element is a Joomla component and can be disabled in Extension Manager / Manage
