Products and subscriptions in the same cart and transaction

I have products that are NOT subscriptions and I have subscriptions. I just want the customer to be able to pay for both in the same transaction.

Lets say I have a widget I sell for $100.00 and a membership for 100.00 per month. I want my customer to be able to pay for both in one transaction.
I know it's not a limitation of the CC processor. Seems like a simple request to me but no one can seem to point me to a solution.

I can't believe this has never come up.

Example below;
Widget....................100.00
Membership............100.00 per month (recurring charge)

Total.......................200.00 pay now
