Dynamic Child Variant & Stockable Variants

Hello to everyone from Italy,
I apologize if what I have to ask is already posted but I didn't find something helpful 

I use VM 2.0.16 and J 2.5.8
the problem is:
- I have 3 products (for example red, yellow and blue) with 3 different code, image and description
- on each of product I'd like to see a dropdown with colors and when I choose blue, page should be updated with code, image and description of blue product

That works fine using Automatic Child Variant but there is name of products on dropdown and I want color (because the name of my products are often very long)
If I use plugin with Stockable Variant I have a dropdown with color but if I choose a color the page update only price

I read about Dynamic Child Variant option but I didn't find it in any point of my VM... 

Is there someone so kind who could suggest me a solution?
