shipment method plugin?

Hello!  First time post here, long time user of prev versions of VM.

I'm a bit at a loss how to configure shipping; I do understand I need to install a joomla plugin, where would I find that?  Although I'm a very experienced Joomla user - setup and configured dozens of sites for clients, I'm *not* a joomla deleveloper.....

Maybe one the the VM developers could give us step by step instructions for creating a basic shipment method plugin?

Did you install both components?
com_virtuemart.2.0.12f.zip immediately followed by com_virtuemart.2.0.12f_ext_aio.zip  ?  (or latest version files)

The aio component installs the modules & plugins.   http://dev.virtuemart.net/projects/virtuemart/wiki/Installation_of_VirtueMart_2_with_provided_packages

So then the basic highly configurable shipping plugin is already installed. Basic instructions are on the Wiki, see this page for shop menu & shipping setup.

Thank you for the respond. It is not showing up with the product or when product is ready to be checked out. It says: No shipping method is available for this product.  Are you in IM like yahoo or google? I can share the admin id also if you want. Waiting for your reply. Regards,

Hi, I tried with both the standard plugin and with PRO plugin,  but on the checkout page the shipment tax is not shown... I'd like to add the shipment fee to the final price, even if the product has no weight. But it's not working...

Ok, I see that if I set a fixed price for the tax, that price is shown on the cart. However, if a change the fixed price to %, then it goes away from the cart...
