Hello everyone :)

I would like some help if possible. I'm a fairly new user to virtuemart and I'm stuck with configuration of the Tax module.

What I would like to do is for virtuemart to automatically work out the tax based on the product price. I can see how you add the tax onto the current product price. But I want it to deduct the TAX off the product price and show in the invoice as Tax. I can see in the settings that there is a -% ...but this doesn't give you the correct figure as its -'ing the percentage off the total product price (which includes the TAX amount)

If a product in my shop is £10 (£10 in the price box) which includes 20% TAX. I would want virtuemart to show product price £8.33 and TAX as £1.67 (8.33+1.67=£10). Currently using the -% function would make the value of the product £8 and VAT £2 (8+2=10) - which is incorrect for 20% TAX on 8.33.

This function is available on the likes of eBay. - You just state what the % of tax it is and eBay works out the TAX amount based on the product price.

I have read the forum and found this link > http://forum.virtuemart.net/index.php?topic=98186.0 but I just wondered if there was a solution at this time?

Thank you
Christian
