Shopping cart module error

Hi

My shopping cart module has stopped working. The module correctly displays the products that have been added to the cart but when I click 'show cart' the resulting page is completely blank. Some of the products also produced a blank page when selected until I disabled the component.

I had noticed that periodically some of my products would not open when selected, I disabled all the custom fields and enabled them one-by-one until the product would open again. This was reasonably successful although on occasion this still happens. I have to refresh the page before the product displays correctly.

I'm using Joomla 2.5 and the most recent version of Virtumart.
I recently added the Google checkout and PayPal payment systems to my website but nothing else.

It has returned to normal overnight .... I have a Mac gremlin perhaps!!!
