Extra info on add to cart

When i add to the cart I receive all this extra information (below)
It also happens after a user selects a shipment method and then also before you confirm your order. It sort of looks like its showing debug information from the shipping portion of virtuamart but debug is turned off ?

Turns out the output i mentioned in my previous post is only visible when logged in as administrator, so problem resolved.
can any one tell me if this is the standard admin behavior for the site when logged into the front end ?
