How can I have a restricted cart page when someone adds a product to his cart ?

I do not want to be prompted only on the checkout but when someone just tries to add a product to his cart.

You want to restrict the checkout page to only registed users?

If it is our problem, go to our website/administrator, then components->virtuemart->Configuration->checkout->(activate this option "Only registered users can checkout ") done
