Shipment and Payment Tabs are not working ...

Hi guys, When i want to edit Payment and Shipping details, clicking Save and it returns default settings, what can i do could you help me ?

Did you install the payment and shipping plugins?
Is there a small message in tiny blue writing on a blue background telling you that there are no plugins installed at the top of the screen where you are trying to add the shipping and payment methods?
Don't feel bad. It took me a while to notice and then figger it out too!

When you unzipped Virtuemart to install it in Joomla, there is another package in the folder. That is the shipping and payment plugins. They get installed separately. Who knew!

Install the package just as you would any extension in Joomla!

i installed just com_virtuemart 2.0.8 and aio but no plugins ...

could you go to the back end in the plugin menus and see if the plugins are in the extensions plugin manager - but not enabled?
just maybe ?

Hello,

I have installed VM 2.0.6 and VM AIO 2.0.6 under Joomla 2.5.6. I normally see the plugins for payments and shippment in the aio archive, with their preconfigured lists. I also see the Shipment Methods and Payment Methods under the Shop tab, in the backend of my VM shop.

The problem is that when i open the Payment Methods option, there is no payment list. Do i have to configure them from somewhere? What am i missing? Please help, i would really appreciate..

Problem solved!!!

For those who still have this problem, check if you have installed the virtuemart aio package which includes the payment and shipment plugins. Also, check in the Joomla administrator if these plugins are enabled.

Further on, you won't see a list of payments in the Payment Method tab (VM backend) and you have to create a new payment method. I suggest you this link that really helped me: http://forum.virtuemart.net/index.php?topic=101478.0
