virtuemart 2 required customfield

Does anyone know how to make a customfield required i VM2 like in all other shops .. like if you dont thoose a color the shop makes a popup window that tells you to choose color before you can add the product to the cart?

hello, as far as i know this is not built into the current version of virtuemart (please correct me if i am wrong), the only way to do this is actually changing the code of virtuemart (again correct me if i am wrong), might be worth checking to see if you can any plugins.
the way i create dropdowns is not to use fields like choose a option or anything like that, i normally just set all the options in and make sure the dropdown menu has a desent title, this should be enough for your client to notice that if they dont want e.g. the colour black, they need to change it.
