Virtuemart is installed with sample store but storefront is blank

Virtuemart appears fully installed in admin and i installed sample data. I am using joomla 2.5 with the latest version of virtue mart.
I have set my CART link to virtue mart frontage. None of the virtue mart pages show in the front end.
Any help???
