buy and send to another user

i am looking for this maybe odd solution

i want a shopping cart and for years i feel comfy with virtuemart but..

Is there a possibility during checkout that a member/buyer can select another member to send the bought goods?

thing is: i run a dating site and maybe a user wants to send a gift through the shop to another male/female member

i think this can be done with vm, question is, can it be done out of the box? is it hard and maybe any hints or tips howto?

The buyer would just need to specify a different delivery address to that they give or register as their billing address. This can be done at checkout.

i know he can choose a different delivery address.

What i look for is just a possibility to select a member of the same webite as beneficiary, anlother delivery address is not needed. It is even possible that he/she doesn even know the address of the person he/she is buying the gift for.

Not possible without a specially built plugin - or a core hack which we do not support.
