unable to upgrade from 2.0.2 to 2.0.6

Hi friends,
Ive just installed (and configurated) the 2.0.2 version on Joomla 2.5.4 and i would like to upgrade to the last version 2.0.6 but if i try obtain this message and the upgrade fails:


Internal Server Error
The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request

should I wait another future virtuemart upgrade?

You can also update manually

just extract the installer, overwrite the files per ftp (you must not copy the install folder in the root directoy). Go to your tools use "update tables"

Should i update com_virtuemart.2.0.6_ext_aio too? (that it suffers of the same problem) or remove it?

Do it the same way, when you have problems. Maybe it is the tar.gz problem, then extract it, make a new package with zip upload it

or extract it, upload it per ftp into the tmp directory and use the method install from directory.
