Where can one edit settings for the several Permissions groups? (i.e, admin, storeadmin, shopper, demo)
Relayed to this question, is there  way to set permissions for specific categories so that only authorized staff has access to them? That is to say, allowing user A to admin category B, but not categories Y and X, for instance.

Hi guys,

I have researched over th Forum and at the moment nothing seems to solve this issue.

My solution it´s just to simple turn off from the database the panel for the configuration and tools.

1.- Go to PHPMYadmin and locate your site database ( I am running locally)

2.- Find the table [jos_vtmart_modules]

3.- Turn off the desire module from the menu (entirely) for this select the item in the panel of the right and put (0) to published field, this will turn off the entire module.

At the moment there is no granular control over items in each module as far as I know like in the 1.X versions.

If you find a better way to do it I will appreciate your reply.

;)
