attribute and child products

Hello,
i have installed virtuemart 2.0 and while at the beginning I was thrilled, now, like many others as I read, I'm facing problems with the Attributes.
My first question is: I made an attribute "Cart Variant" and I enter at Value at Price "1", at the frontend it shows "1,36", when I enter the value "2", I get "2,72" etc.
How can I fix this?

I'd also like to ask: at version 2.0 how can I have child products for a product, but to show like it showed in the old virtuemart, like in the following photo.
