Payment option by credit points

Hi guys!

I am pretty new to the whole eshop topic - but I hope I can find the help I am looking for. I am from the austrian red cross, an NPO, and we want to establish a system for our volunteers. What will the system look like? For every hour of volunteering a member will get credited 1 point to his account. With this points he can go to our webshop (virtuemart?) and can buy products - he can only buy by using his points, he shall not be able to pay also by cash or whatsoever. Also shipping costs should be shown in points. Every month an administrator does credit the points to the members account based on their volunteering activity.

Can such a solution be build with virtuemart? Out of the box or via an extension? I have worked through the forum but have not found a clear hint for the same. Maybe someone of you can shed some light on that for me?
