PayPal registers as COD?

Hi - I've set up PayPal as one of the payment methods on my site.

It appears as an option - along with bank transfer - the only other option.

However, when - I process a payment it goes through directly - I do not visit the PayPal page, yet I do receive an email confirmation of my order where it is classed as Cash on Delivery (?)

I have all the relevant fields completed in the PayPal config (which actually seems to be just the PayPal email address...)

I was expecting to be transferred to the PP page to complete the payment.

any clues, anyone??
