greg please search pageNavigation.class.php for "LI" (list item) match all words and you will find:
-line 143       $html .= "\n<li><span class=\"pagenav\"> $i </span><li>"; 

here last <li> should be </li>

Perhaps you are not using the latest from SVN. They are all fine there.
