vmError: Couldnt create thumb, file not found

Brand new installation and when I try to upload images, I get
QuotevmError: Couldnt create thumb, file not found

Four images uploaded, one can be found, but thumb not showing. All images are in the same folder.
Thumbs for all created in resized folder but nothing is shown on the product page at the front or backend.

QuotevmError: Table: Sorry,It's not a valid media file.
vmError: Couldnt create thumb, file not found /home/public_html/images/virtuemart/product/10966-2.jpg
vmError: Couldnt create thumb, file not found /home/public_html/images/virtuemart/product/10966-3.jpg
vmError: Couldnt create thumb, file not found /home/public_html/images/virtuemart/product/10966-4.jpg

I really wonder about this error. No one had that. But the new version 4.2.6 has changes in the mediahandler. Does it work now?

Nope. Not working with VirtueMart 4.2.6 10972 under Joomla 4.4.2

Really certain about the paths? What happens if you change the names of the images to something with chars. maybe the -1,-2,-3 endings make the trouble

...and this time you are writing about it again. As I recall, you confused a "forward slash" with a "backslash". Maybe this time it will be it "fraction slash" ? :D
