Keypad for mobile device on "city" dropdown

Does any body know how I can get a keyboard to popup on a mobile device during the checkout process for the dropdown "country, state, city". The problem I'm having is that mobile uses have to scroll down every listed city before being able to make a selection. These are many pages long. On the desktop you can just start typing and the areas will start showing. I defiantly remember mobile devices working this way too, with a popup keypad. But something has changed for me and I cant figure out what.

I found a solution to my own problem. To anybody else with this issue, you need to enable "Use jQuery chosen for dropdowns in FE" in VM Config.
