Invoce: Products grouped and summed by manufacturer?

Hello everyone!
Is it possible to have products - on the invoice, in the email - grouped by manufacturer? And howto,  if yes? I need also to have goods summed according to manufacturer. E.g:
manufacturer A = sum: 230 $
manufacturer B = sum: 400 $
Maybe someone has dealt with this yet?

With a template override, you can check the manufacturer and sort as you want  Of course this need to use a loop to get products and group it under each manufacturer, so you can have a sum as you want.
