non shipping products - no shipment method needed

Hello,

I've had a few webshops with VM1. Now I'm making a new webshop with VM2. In this shop I have products that are not shipped, they are workshops, so people have to go to a location where the workshops are given.

So I don't want any shipment methods shown, and I also don't want the "ship to" part in the check-out.

Is there a way to get rid of the shipment method?

I hope you can help me, I checked the internet, but I can't find it.

I have the same issue, we have a webshop for events.
But I cannot find an answer on the forum anywhere.

I am using joomla 2.5.8
and virtuemart 2.0.18a

Same request: We sell memberships in Fitness Gym, so, no shipment needed - just payment and it is done. ANYBODY can tell anything or no skilled ones here?

Everybody else are probably skilled enough to use the search or out having fun instead of watching the forum ..

You don´t have to be abusive, this is a peer to peer forum based on volunters.

Create a shipping method VM based on weight zip and countries, call it what You like and set the cost to zero, enable autoselect shipment method and You are done.
