Only show product on product page

When I navigate to a product (Product Details) it shows categories under the product. I don't want that, just the product. How do I adjust this. Also I see no add to cart option on product pages. I don't have a payment method setup yet. Does this need to be setup first.

Sorry didn't think before asking... Same question as above, my joomla is 3.5.x and virtuemart is 3.0.14. Thanks for the heads up

With Joomla 3.5.1 you must use VirtueMart 3.0.16

The message I directed you to also asks for the URL......................  It sounds like you have a template problem

I do appreciate your time. the url for testing is "aitester.net". The only current products are under the chromatography category.

I found a visibility hidden set for the cart, fixed. now just how to set for only product on product pages. Anyone?

Looks like you may be using VM template overrides?  Try turning off "Show Children Category" under Configuration/Templates/Shopfront Settings  - except this also may change your category display.

now the product page is correct but, you can't navigate the categories anymore. I would like to remove just from the product page. Can this be done.

If you have a directory at /templates/ai/html/com_virtuemart/ then try renaming it - eg to com_virtuemartXX - so it is not used. Then test with Show Children Category turned back on.

Although from memory (may have changed recently) the Show Children Category setting cascades down to sub cat views
