Export all orders per year

Hi all,

I've got a question regarding exporting orders per year. I know that CSVI can do this, only the free plugin isn't working on Joomla 3 anymore, and surely dont want to take a subscription for such a simple function.
So I want to write my own component/plugin so people can use that one to export orders. What datatables do I need to use with exporting data?

well .. just check them..  depends what you want to export.. 

#__virtuemart_orders and most of the  #___virtuemart_order_xxxx

you need linked queries as data is distributed over the tables
