how to add shipping option, select from list

Hi,

I am wondering if I can implement shipping option, where buyer can choose suggested values.

The reason for this - I use parcel stations as shipping option for product purchase. Parcel stations should be chosen by buyer. At the moment I ask them to do that by leaving comments. If those are not left, I have to call the client and ask for parcel station he wants to use.
The list of stations is available in xml format, which is regularly renewed by carrier service. So if its possible to renew the list by creating update feature to parcel station list, it would be even better.

I tried to look for solution in VM standard features, I see it is not available.

Also, I didn't have any success to find corresponding plugin.

Any help would appreciated.

Yes, it would be a list of Parcel stations.

Is there such option to add it in shipping options in VM? Or I will have to look for 3rd party plugin?

No, this is not what I am looking for.

The idea is for buyer to choose option - Receive parcel at Parcel station. When it is chosen, he has to choose from drop down list the parcel station he prefers. 

If the list could be updated by xml file, it would be ideal. Most owners of Parcel stations have updated xml files ready for download with stations.

So at the end, when there is an invoce made, it shuld like this:

Handling and shipping - Omniva parcel station - XY center at Riga, X str. 108.

was ages ago...  was based on a VM1.1 plugin from memory and then I extended it

it is J2.5/VM2.0 - still have it
